Overview:
This is Middle River Friends Church’s new theme for the Children’s ministry. It will focus on teaching kids how to be rooted in Christ as they grow, being strengthened by their faith in Jesus, so that they can be ready to face the winds and trials of this world with strong roots and foundations.
Jesus said that we would have trouble in this world but that He has overcome the world. (John 16:33) Teaching young children to have their roots, their identity, and their purpose in Christ will make the difference in their lives.
It is our goal then in the children’s ministry here at Middle River Friends Church to:
Teach children to become rooted in Christ, making Him their source for living and salvation while training them to be active members of the body of Christ.
